This study will form the first stage of a planned four-year longitudinal study of educational marker events using representative samples of full and part time occupational therapy students. A review of the literature will be undertaken to highlight current themes and facilitate further refinement of the marker event review schedule, which was initially developed for use in the pilot study. Events with marker potential will be identified from a student perspective using the aforementioned schedule. Results will be analyzed using thematic analysis methodology and emerging themes will form the basis of the discussion.
