Since entering the new century, the relationship between Japan and India has shown a new trend of development. The two countries have comprehensively strengthened and deepened their bilateral relations from the economic, political, and defense and security fields, and have taken the containment of China as a common strategic goal to build a "global Strategic partnership". However, Japan and India are increasingly interdependent economically with China, and the bilateral strategic partnership between Japan and India cannot be free from the constraints of Chinese factors
