Reported outcomes for older people with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) often focus on survival and mortality and little attention is paid to symptom burden and health-related quality of life. Recognising frailty and providing interventions that may improve outcomes have been studied in the general population with a growing research interest within CKD. A scoping review will be undertaken following a recommended process to understand relevant research and priorities for older people living with frailty and advanced CKD.
