Bisher waren für höchstauflösende Pulver-Beugungsexperimente lange Messzeiten an teuren Synchrotronquellen notwendig. Mit dem hier vorgestellten Multi-Detektor-System (MDS) wurde an der Beamline B2 am HASYLAB (DESY) ein entscheidender Schritt zur Erhöhung der Messeffizienzund die Erweiterung der experimentellen Möglichkeiten vollzogen. Das Multi-Detektor-System - vier Diffraktometer in Parallelstrahlgeometrie für höchstauflösende Pulver-Beugungsexperimente in einem kompakten Gerät - erreicht einen maximalen Gewinnfaktor von fast 4 in der Nettomesszeit gegenüber einem konventionellen Diffraktometer.
