In the presentation BIG DATA DISRUPTIONS: HOW INDUSTRIE 4.0 WILL IMPACT INDUSTRIAL ROBOTICS Thomas Bauernhansl explains why robots will be the future tool for personalized production. He presents the Robotics IT-chain and the background of Industrie 4.0 as "Everything as a Service". The IPA-developed safe data platform Virtual Fort Knox is introduced and two examples are given with asking the questions: "What if Bin-picking came out of the Cloud?" and "What if there was a AGV Cloud Navigation?"
