In der vorliegenden Arbeit erfolgte eine retrospektive Erfassung klinischer und laborchemischer Daten von Patienten mit Silver-Russel-Syndrom, die im Zeitraum von 1970 bis 2006 in der Endokrinologischen Ambulanz der Kinderklinik der Universität Tübingen vorstellig wurden. Die Auswahl der Patienten erfolgte nach Silver-Russell-Syndrom-spezifischen klinischen Einschlusskriterien. Durch molekulargenetische Untersuchungen im Universitätsklinikum Aachen konnten die Patienten mit SRS verschiedenen Genotypen zugeordnet werden. 21 Patienten wiesen eine Epimutation in der Region 11p15 auf, 5 Patienten trugen eine mUPD7 und 15 Patienten zeigten ein idiopathisches Silver-Russel-Syndrom.
