Abstract In today's world, the use of the Internet by users is expanding, virtual social networks with a variety of functions that can influence spying methods with their hidden function. This article examines the sociological impact of the performance of virtual social networks on spouse selection practices. In the theoretical framework, the theories of William Good, Giddens and Habermas have been used. The research method used, survey and data collection tool is a questionnaire. The statistical population of the study was both men and women in Tehran who have been married for the past five years.
