Metal-organic frameworks have emerged as an attractive new class of solid material with a wide range of potential applications. However, in order to boost their market implementation a decisive improvement in material supply is needed. The continuous flow approach represents a promising methodology to attain the scale-up of these materials. This paper provides a survey of the research performed in this area, and highlights challenges and opportunities
