From a physical-chemical point of view, it is challenging to form complexes with polyelectrolytes, consisting of only molecule of the largest component, i.e. the component with the highest number of charges. In this study, complexes are formed with DNA because of its potential applications as an artificial vector for gene delivery. The aim of this work is to prepare complexes in aqueous solutions as well as in organic solvents containing only one DNA molecule.
