Although UV filters are important, widespread used cosmetic ingredients, their reaction potential towards skin proteins has hardly been studied so far. Therefore, the aim of the present thesis was to investigate the reactivity of widespread UV filter substances towards skin proteins using increasingly complex protein and skin model systems and different analytical techniques.
