Deep Learning Groups: Combining Emotional and Intellectual Learning

This article discusses deep learning groups (DLGs) which seek consensually validated truths (intellectual learning) and the experiential understanding of feelings (emotional learning). Deep learning enhances the maturation of DLG members. The theories of Jurgen Habermas, Robert Langs, and Virginia Satir provide the bases for deep learning groups.
