The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) is the leading non‐government organization that advocates for sexual and reproductive health in Hong Kong. The Association was first founded in 1936 as the Hong Kong Eugenics League (香港優生學會). In 1950, it changed its name officially to the Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (香港家庭計劃指導會). The FPAHK was founded with the initial mission of wide‐spreading the ‘family planning’ message. The Association is perhaps best known for its “Two is Enough (兩個夠晒數)”campaign launched in the 1970s with the aim of tackling the social and economicburdens generated by the rapid population growth in Hong Kong.
