Macromolecular Science & Engineering is the paradigm of a multi-disciplinary area in Materials Science. The path from monomer via macromolecules into functional polymer materials and products travels through various disciplines: chemistry, catalysis, thermodynamics, macromolecular reaction engineering, rheology, physics, processing and product design.
