Aims: Vascular calcification is a hallmark of atherosclerotic burden and can predict the cardiovascular outcome. Vitamin K antagonists (VKA) are widely used anticoagulant drugs to treat patients at risk of arterial and venous thrombosis but are also associated with increase vascular calcification progression.
