Objective: Despite optimal treatment with debulking surgery and chemotherapy, the majority of patients with advanced stage epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) die within five years. Survival beyond eight years is rare and the mechanisms that lead to such favorable outcomes are incompletely understood.
