OBJECTIVE: We investigated protein markers for pathways of the fatty glucose metabolism in human adipose tissue after a weight loss program restriction. DESIGN AND METHODS: Overweight/obese subjects underwent an intervention of 5 weeks of a very low calorie diet followed by a 3 weeks maintenance diet.
