UPAYA MEMANTAPKAN PEMILIHAN KARIR MELALUI LAYANAN INFORMASI PADA SISWA KELAS XII DI SMK PARIWISATA MITRA NUSA BAKTI BELITUNG TAHUN AJARAN 2019/2020

Strengthening career choice is the ability of students to understand how to solidify career choices, because there are still many students who are confused about choosing the right career for them. This study aims to determine an increase in career selection strengthening through information services for class XII students of SMK Pariwisata Mitra Nusa Bakti in the 2019/2020. This research is a classroom action research. This study provides information services in the form of two cycles of action consisting of three meetings in the first cycle and three meetings in the second cycle. The media used are print media and video media. The research subjects were 24 students with low understanding. The data collection method was carried out with instruments in the form of questionnaires and observations. The data analysis method used t-test, which is a comparison between before and after being given a treatment in the form of information services. Before the service was carried out, the average value of career strengthening was 77.50 after the second cycle of action was given an average value of 9.29. So it is concluded that there is an increase in career selection strengthening through information services
