Summary The development of urbanization and industrialization has improved the comfort level and the quality of human’s life effectively. But at the same time, it also caused many global environment problems, such as air pollution, greenhouse effect and urban heat island (UHI). The environment cannot keep the balance because of lots of industrial activities, anthropogenic heat and building surface effect. Almost 3 billion people, who are living in cities, have to face this situation, and the quantity is still increasing.
