The Immovable Regime ? The Republic Facing to The Conspiracies. Frédéric Monnier [ 7-25]. This article analyzes the ability of regimes to resist to institutional and political changes. The constitutions that provide and codify procedures of limited revision don't explain changes of regime that occured in acute crisis situations. The article shows the emergence of a primary model of defence of the Republic, elaborated between 1889 and 1900, mixing political and judicial mecanisms. This model, that slowly deteriorates between 1906 and 1932, has became obsolete in february 1934. This weakened capacity of resistance plays a role in 1958.
