International audienceWetland archaeological sites carry especially high cultural value, and are inscribed on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Ongoing climate change caused by human activity poses a threat to these exceptional heritage sites. It is important that we evaluate them with a view to better managing and preserving them.With that in mind, the recent investigations around Lake Annecy in the Savoie department give us a chance to observe how sensitive variations in this body of water are to climate change over the long term.
