La Tomographie par Emission de Positrons (TEP) est une technique d'imagerie de choix pour localiser et évaluer les pharmacodynamiques de biomarqueurs pour divers pathologies. Le radioisotope le plus utilisé est le fluor-18, et celui-ci possède un temps de demi-vie relativement court (109,8 min) ce qui impose une contrainte importante sur les radiosynthèses. De plus, les radiomarquages au [18F]F- existants nécessitent pour la plupart un environnement anhydre, des conditions dures et des températures élevées qui ne sont généralement pas compatibles avec les biomolécules tel que les peptides et les nanobodies.
