Cette étude examine la manière dont quatre quotidiens français (Les Echos, Le Figaro, Libération, Le Monde) ont influencé la définition, la perception et la compréhension de la crise économique dans la zone euro entre 2010 et 2014. Elle analyse le discours sur la crise dans deux pays, la Grèce et l’Espagne. L’étude soutient que le discours de la presse s’est complètement aligné sur le récit politique officiel, qui présentait la crise comme un phénomène national dû à des failles et des faiblesses nationales, alors que ses causes étaient principalement européennes.
