Les lichens, organismes symbiotiques complexes considérés comme « holobionte », représentent des niches d’une richesse exceptionnelle d’un point de vue microbien et constituent une ressource privilégiée pour la découverte de métabolites spécialisés d’intérêt. Les travaux réalisés lors de cette thèse ont porté, d’une part, sur l’étude de la diversité fongique et bactérienne arborée au sein du lichen Rhizocarpon geographicum et d’autre part, sur la valorisation de la souchothèque d’un point de vue biotechnologique.
