VSPER theory is a difficult concept to understand and a significant area of confusion in general chemistry classrooms. 2-D models are commonly used; however, they fail to take into consideration a molecules orientation in space, a key component in VSPER theory. The lack of clarity involving bond angles and alignment often leads to difficulty in conceptualizing the theory. The purpose of this project was to generate 3-D models of molecules from VSPER theory for classroom use with the intent to aid in the comprehension of the material.
