Conventional Flow Cytometers (FC) and Fluorescence-Activated-Cell-Sorters (FACS) are mechanically complex, bulky, and require specialized human operators, large sample volumes, and sample preparation procedures for proper diagnosis of diseases such as leukemia and malaria.
