Die gentechnische Veränderung von Kartoffeln hat in der Pflanzenzüchtung eine zunehmende Bedeutung. Neben der knollen-spezifischen Stärkemodifikation spielt auch die Integration von Genen zur Synthese neuer, in der Kartoffel nicht ursprünglicher Substanzen eine Rolle. Hiezu zählt die in dieser Arbeit untersuchte Fructan-Kartoffel. Im Mittelpunkt standen jeweils drei transgene Linien der Kartoffelsorte Désirée mit folgenden zwei Konstrukten: das einfach transformierte Konstrukt 1-SST und das doppelt transformierte Konstrukt 1-SST/FFT.
