Successful aging at work is concerned with subjective and objective indicators of occupational success, such as performance, health, and well-being. The present research project focused on the selection, optimization, compensation (SOC) model as one possible set of action-regulation strategies that can facilitate successful aging at work. Specifically, we investigated the benefits of the use of SOC strategies and aimed at answering the question whether the SOC model can indeed be considered a model of successful aging.
