The current European landscapes are changing dramatically. How can these changes be managed in such a way that the qualities from past and present are taken into account and even strengthened? This reacquires a method that gives insight in the quality or identity of the current landscape and that provides tools to discuss which landscape qualities are to be taken as a starting point for further development.
