Introduction Patients undergoing bariatric surgery are severely obese and characterized by multidrug use for multiple comorbidities. Bariatric surgery can influence the prevalence and incidence of comorbidities, as well as the pharmacokinetics of drugs. This might lead to changes in the use of drugs.
