We performed solid state 13C cross-polarization magic angle spinning (CPMAS) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and pyrolysis¿gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py¿GC/MS) on the Penido Vello peat deposit located in Galicia, NW Spain.
