We present accurate surface photometry in the B, V, R, I, H and K passbands of 86 spiral galaxies. The galaxies in this statistically complete sample of undisturbed spirals were selected from the UGC to have minimum diameters of 2' and minor over major axis ratios larger than 0.625. This sample has been selected in such a way that it can be used to represent a volume limited sample. The observation and reduction techniques are described in detail, especially the not often used driftscan technique for CCDs and the relatively new techniques using near-infrared (near-IR) arrays.
