Objective: The aim of this prospective study was to assess predictive value of fludeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) and computed tomography (CT) and to analyze their cost-effectiveness in several diagnosis-treatment combinations.Background: The incidence of melanoma continues to rise.
