The aims of this study were to assess in two different settings and at two different points of time the quality of life of patients with cancer who are terminally ill, to get an insight into the changes that occur in the course of time, and to evaluate the differences between the groups. A stratified random sample of 121 patients was extracted from a total of 250 cancer patients who were being treated in the hospital or home care services.
