The effects of a post-harvest application of gibberellic acid (GA3) at various concentrations (0, 10, 25, 50, or 100 mg l-1) and for different periods of incubation (1, 2, or 3 h) on the breaking of dormancy and on sprouting in potato (Solanum tuberosum L., cv. Marfona) minitubers of two ages (freshly-harvested or 1 week after harvest) were investigated.
