With the increasing penetration of electric vehicles (EV) and distributed generations (DG) in distribution networks, operation and control of distribution networks (DN) is faced with many new challenges. Considering the remarkable characteristics of distribution network layered by voltage level and the spatial and temporal distribution of EV charging load, a hierarchical and distributed optimization method for DN is proposed.
