Throughout World War II, Romanian secret services collected information on the location of German units in the country. The officers from the conspiracy group for the return of weapons against Germany increase the number of Romanian units present in the capital, in order to be able to face the Germans. A clandestine allied mission was parachuted into Bucharest and secretly hosted by General Constantin Sanatescu.
