Carbonitride with a graphitic structure (g-C3N4) is a promising material for photocatalysis. Its properties can be improved by heterojunction engineering, in which it is coupled with another material such as a metal or a semiconductor. In this thesis, the objective is to design nanocomposites based on g-C3N4 and carbon through an original process which allows to control the properties of these materials. These will be evaluated using physico-chemical and photocatalytic methods.
