Lichens, complex symbiotic organisms considered as "holobionts", represent niches of exceptional richness from a microbial point of view and constitute a privileged resource for the discovery of specialized metabolites of interest. The work carried out during this thesis focused, on the one hand, on the study of fungal and bacterial diversity within the lichen Rhizocarpon geographicum and on the other hand, on the valorization of the strain collection from a biotechnological point of view.
