Uso de anécdotas para fortalecer las habilidades en lecto-escritura

This paper reports qualitative research on the effectiveness of the use of anecdotes under an intensive reading approach in line with the reading comprehension strategies in a Colombian state university Literacy course. The study aimed at determining how the use of anecdotes, activated by intensive reading strategies, could foster reading and writing competences in a group of thirteen students of the Language Program of that university which face literacy deficiencies. The methodological route was participative action research with surveys, questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, and field diaries. By means of these tools and techniques, the information was gathered and learning environments were designed to develop two didactic units like a test to analyze the impact and advantages of the use of anecdotes mediated by intensive reading practices for reading comprehension and writing mastering. The findings showed a motivating, enthusiastic and creative work of the students. And, thus, reading comprehension and the writing dynamic were favored and strengthened. The analyses offer elements for reflection to orient future decisions concerning how to promote students Reading comprehension and writing competence by means of the use of anecdotes. Key Words: anecdotes, reading comprehension, literacy competence, reading strategies, reading approaches.Este artículo reporta una investigación de corte cualitativo que exploró la efectividad del uso de anécdotas bajo un enfoque de lectura intensiva alineada a estrategias de comprensión lectora en un curso de lecto-escritura en una universidad estatal colombiana. El estudio orbitó en torno a determinar cómo el uso de anécdotas activadas desde lecturas intensivas fomentaba las competencias en lectura y escritura de un grupo de trece estudiantes del Programa Idiomas con deficiencias en lectura y redacción. La ruta metodológica fue investigación acción participativa con encuestas, cuestionarios, entrevistas semiestructuradas y diarios de campo. Mediante estas técnicas e instrumentos se recopiló la información y se diseñaron ambientes de aprendizaje para desarrollar dos unidades didácticas que sirvieron como prueba para analizar impacto y ventajas del uso de las anécdotas con inclusión de prácticas lectoras intensivas para la comprensión lectora Los hallazgos mostraron un trabajo con anécdotas motivante, entusiasta y creativo. Y, así, la comprensión lectora y la dinámica escritural se favorecieron. Los análisis ofrecen elementos de reflexión para orientar futuras decisiones respecto a cómo promover la comprensión lectora y la escritura de los estudiantes mediante el uso de anécdotas. &nbsp
