Sego lily in green diamond on blue, gray, white and orange

"I chose the hexagon and yellow as a representation of a honeycomb, a reference to the historical symbol of Utah, the beehive, as well as the deseret, and our state's industry. The red to me speaks most strongly of our southern red rock, and the white of our great and prominent snow caps. The blue, a different shade than normally seen on flags, something closer to the color of our lakes and rivers, our state's lifeblood.
