The world is currently in a period of great changes, and problems lie ahead,including wars, climate changes, epidemics, and poverty and inequality. In this context, many religions also have various roles to play in discussing and dealing with these issues. Both Islam and Buddhism are world religions and strive to solve these problems. This article introduces scriptures and discussions on welfare, disability and COVID- 9 in Islam and Buddhism, and considers how to deal with reality.
