La fintech y la crisis económica provocada por el COVID-19

This paper aims to analyze the opportunities of fintech in the face of the economic crisis generated by COVID-19, which has had a great impact on companies and on the lives of people who have been forced to reinvent their work, consumption habits and their interaction with the environment in order to sustain themselves in an increasingly competitive market that affect their lifestyle. It is essential to bear in mind that the traditional system and the government have made efforts to maintain the country's economic stability, but the results have not been very satisfactory. Therefore, a triangular-type exploratory research is carried out from the qualitative and quantitative aspects, through the application of information collection instruments, identifying financial, organizational and strategic of the SMEs in the city of Bogotá, that reported their financial statements with cutoff to December 2021 to the Superintendency of Corporations. Finally, it is evident the opportunity for fintech to do disruptive technological innovation for the development of financial products through connectivity from mobile devices for personal use that allow monitoring, electronic commerce, transaction systems, financing, decision-making models and optimization of financial processes at a low cost, which makes it possible to open a range of multiple opportunities for SMEs that seek greater participation and competitiveness where they can offer their products and services in an efficient, agile, comfortable and reliable way. El presente artículo tiene como finalidad analizar las oportunidades de la fintech frente a la crisis económica generada por el COVID-19, la cual ha tenido un gran impacto en las empresas y la vida de las personas que se han visto obligadas a reinventar su trabajo, hábitos de consumo e interacción con el entorno para sostenerse en un mercado cada vez más competitivo que afecta su estilo de vida. Es fundamental tener en cuenta que el sistema tradicional y el gobierno han realizado esfuerzos por mantener la estabilidad económica del país, pero los resultados no han sido muy satisfactorios. Por ello, se lleva a cabo una investigación exploratoria de tipo triangular desde lo cualitativo y cuantitativo, mediante la aplicación de instrumentos de recolección de información, que identifica factores financieros, organizacionales y estratégicos de las pymes en la ciudad de Bogotá, que reportaron sus estados financieros con corte a diciembre 2021 a la Superintendencia de Sociedades. Por último, se evidencia la oportunidad que tienen las fintech de hacer innovación tecnológica disruptiva para el desarrollo de productos financieros por medio de la conectividad desde dispositivos móviles de uso personal que permitan el monitoreo, el comercio electrónico, sistemas de transacciones, de financiación, modelos de toma de decisiones y optimización de procesos financieros a un bajo costo, lo que posibilita abrir un abanico de múltiples oportunidades para las pymes que buscan mayor participación y competitividad, donde puedan ofertar sus productos y servicios de forma eficiente, ágil, cómoda y confiable
