In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde ein standardisiertes Verfahren zur Herstellung individueller Boli mithilfe von FDM und Silikon-Guss vorgestellt. Die Technik schien den Vorteil einer relativ preisgünstigen Bolus-Produktion vor Ort bei verhältnismäßig geringen Ansprüchen an infrastrukturelle Voraussetzungen in der Klinik zu bieten, auch wenn eine Untersuchung ökonomischer Aspekte nicht Ziel der Arbeit war. Gleichzeitig konnten flexible und für den Patienten möglicherweise komfortablere Boli erzeugt werden, die konformaler bzw. lückenloser auflagen als die konventionellen Modelle (Superflabs), eine geringfügige Dosiserhöhung im oberflächlichen Zielvolumen bewirkten und zudem eine deutliche Hautschonung ermöglichten.
