Purpose: Although the treatment method in abdominal wall hernias is surgical, this is generally ignored by the patients, and are admitted to hospitals with an incarcerated hernia. The current study investigates the factors affecting morbidity and mortality in patients with incarcerated hernias with the purpose of drawing attention to the necessity of early hernia surgery in patients with hernia who have these factors
