In this study, high-strength aluminium-magnesium alloys were prepared by AC- electric field technique (FAST) using powder metallurgy. Effects of sintering temperature on the Al-Mg microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated. Results from microstructural observations indicate that the density decreases with the increase in the sintering temperature; also, the maximum compressive strength and hardness values increased. The sample of Mg22Al at 300 ∘C under a pressure of 30 MPa reached nearly full density (≈0.99 ρt), it has 510,4 MPa compression strength and 167,90 HV30 hardness value as the highest value among the samples.
