Most of the consumption energy resources that exist nowadays are non-renewable energy resources and not eco-friendly which cause lots of environment problem. It is important to invent a new type of alternative energy resource to replace the nonrenewable energy resources. The main objective of this study is to identify the potential of chlorophyll as battery cell. Chlorophyll is extracted from fresh spinach leaves through two extraction method. Carbon rod and strip of zinc is used as the positive and negative terminal of chlorophyll battery cell respectively.
