Overarching project aim: To understand the barriers and motivators for book reading in adolescence from the perspectives of adolescents themselves and to create an intervention to motivate and engage adolescents to read books. Phase 2 specific aims: (1) exploring how adolescents perceive and talk about their own book reading experiences; (2) exploring the motivators and barriers to reading as perceived by adolescents themselves; and (3) contributing towards methodological knowledge regarding peer interviewing
