This contribution will focus on 2 different applications of Bayesian updating techniques for the evaluation of concrete structures. Firstly, we will explain how prior information can be integrated in the assessment of the characteristic concrete strength from a limited number of test samples. Secondly, we will focus on how indirect information from compliance control can be incorporated in order to update the strength distribution of concrete and the safety level of concrete structures
