Visualisasi hutan ibu suku Moi Kelim sebagai motif batik pada busana kasual eco-friendly

Indonesia is home to the third largest rainforest in the world with diverse biodiversity, flora and fauna. However, currently forests in Indonesia are under threat due to deforestation. That diversity needs to be maintained and preserved. The Moi Kelim tribe guards the kalasow valley forest, precisely in Makbon District, Sorong Regency, West Papua. The harmonious relationship between mother and daughter of the Moi Kelim tribe and the forest is the author's attraction to be the source of the idea of creation. The creation method used in the creation of this final project is the creation method. SP Gustami theory about three six-step stages in creating craft works, starting from the exploration stage, the design stage, and the embodiment stage. The result achieved was that written batik with the Moi Kelim tribal stylation motif was applied to eco-friendly casual clothing, totaling eight works. Environmentally friendly materials ranging from natural fiber fabrics, namely primisima cotton as the batik fabric material, the use of Tegeran, Tingi, Jolawe and Indigovera natural dyes as batik dyes, shell buttons as a complement to clothing, and striated fabrics as clothing combination fabrics
