Add to ORKGA preliminary finite element model of a tubular (nitinol) stent graft for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair is presented. We first developed a parametric stent graft model of a generic tubular stent design with the open source pyFormex software. Subsequently the Abaqus commercial finite element solver was employed to study the mechanical behavior, using user defined analytical surfaces to manipulate the stent design
